The project goal is the development of a wearable patch equipped with devices for the real time analysis of sweat directly collected from skin, in search for a continuous monitoring of biomarkers.
The proposed prototype will be developed in collaboration withe the project partner, a research group Fudan University (Shangai, China), holding a know-how complementary to that of IMEM.
IMEM will be responsible for the fabrication and characterization of self-adhesive skin patches able to collect sweat samples to be driven towards the active sensorized area of the patch, while Fudan will design and realize electronic interfaces integrated on the flexible, wearable systems for device biasing and data communication.
