Toward new scientific frontiers: the role of the CNR in Trentino

The Trentino CNR is preparing to welcome the President of the National Research Council, Prof. Maria Chiara Carrozza, who will participate in the event "Towards new scientific frontiers: the role of the CNR in Trentino."

The meeting will be held in Povo c/o the Bruno Kessler Foundation on June 27, 2024 starting at 9:30 a.m., and is an important opportunity to consolidate scientific and technological collaborations between the CNR and local research institutions.

During the visit, the CNR President will have the opportunity to meet with political representatives and leading local academic and research institutions, including the University of Trento and the Bruno Kessler Foundation.

"We are thrilled to host the CNR President," said Mauro Dalla Serra on behalf of the local organizing committee. "This visit represents an important opportunity to showcase the excellence of research taking place in Trentino and to explore new synergies that can contribute to the scientific and technological development of our country."

Among the main goals of the visit is the presentation of the CNR's development program and to strengthen the bonds between the CNR and local scientific entities by promoting joint initiatives and interdisciplinary research projects. Special attention will be paid to the areas of technological innovation, life sciences and sustainable technologies, areas in which Trentino excels and can make a significant contribution.

The visit of the CNR President to Trento is a concrete sign of the CNR's commitment to supporting and promoting scientific research of excellence in all Italian provinces and regions.
