Services and opportunities for Schools - SCHOOLS

The National Research Council (CNR) has, among his main aims, the promotion within schools of scientific culture, through specific projects, or dissemination initiatives, and experiential initiatives.

In this context, IMEM offers educational guided tours to schools of any level and grade, by proposing seminars and guuided tours through the laboratories, concerning the various aspects of MATTER and the studies to obtain always new and awesome properties and, maybe, to build future devices. During these fascinating travels through Materials Science the skills of physicists, chemists, engineers and bilogists will be mixed together.

Part of the activities devoted to schools is, then, focused on the ministerial project on work-related learning experiences called "Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e per l'Orientamento" (PCTO) and "Percorsi di Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro" (ASL), to support and improve the quality of Education in Italy.
